Return & Refund Policy – HomeMax Smart

At HomeMax Smart, our goal is to provide high-quality smart home products and professional installation services across Pakistan. We want every customer to be 100% satisfied. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for both products and services purchased through homemaxsmart.com.

By purchasing from HomeMax Smart, you agree to the terms below.

1. Return Eligibility (Products Only)

We accept returns for products under the following conditions:

1.1 Eligible for Return

A product qualifies for return if:

  • It is damaged upon delivery

  • It is faulty or not functioning

  • You received the wrong item

  • The product is missing parts/accessories

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

Return request must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the product.

1.2 Not Eligible for Return

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products that have been physically damaged after delivery

  • Products with burned circuits due to wrong wiring

  • Items damaged due to improper installation by others

  • Used items with wear and tear

  • Products without original packaging

  • Products installed and later uninstalled

  • Clearance/sale items

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only in the following cases:

2.1 Full Refund

A full refund is provided when:

  • The product is out of stock and cannot be replaced

  • We delivered the wrong product

  • Product cannot be repaired or replaced

  • Order was cancelled before shipping

2.2 Partial Refund

Partial refund applies if:

  • The product returned is missing accessories

  • The product shows minor usage marks

  • Installation charges (if any) are non-refundable

2.3 Non-Refundable

Refunds are not issued if:

  • Product was damaged due to misuse

  • Wrong product was ordered by the customer

  • Customer changes mind after product installation

  • Product is returned without its original accessories

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.

3. Replacement Policy

We offer replacements for:

  • Faulty devices

  • Non-working smart switches, locks, breakers, cameras, curtains, etc.

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Dead-on-arrival (DOA) products

Replacement time: 3–7 business days, depending on stock availability.

4. Return Process

To return a product, please follow these steps:

Step 1:

Email us at info@homemaxsmart.com or call +92 318 7274755

Step 2:

Provide:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos or videos (for verification)

Step 3:

Our support team will review your request and approve the return if eligible.

Step 4:

Ship the product back to our address (shared by support team).

Step 5:

After inspection, we will process your refund, replacement, or repair.

5. Installation Service Refund Policy

Please note that installation and repair services are non-refundable because they involve labor costs.

No refunds for:
  • Smart lock installation

  • Smart switch installation

  • Smart camera installation

  • Smart breaker installation

  • Smart curtains installation

  • Hotel lock installation

  • Home automation setup

  • On-site technician visits

Service Cancellation

If you cancel a service:

  • Before technician arrival → 100% refundable

  • After technician arrival → Visit fee is charged

  • After installation is completed → Non-refundable

6. Order Cancellation Policy

You may cancel an order:

  • Before processing → Full refund

  • After shipping → Refund not possible (but return may apply if damaged)

Custom smart home automation setups cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

7. Warranty Claims

Many of our smart products come with warranty from:

  • Manufacturers

  • Distributors

  • HomeMax Smart (where applicable)

Warranty claims require:

  • Original invoice

  • Product serial number

  • Photos/videos of issue

Warranty does not cover burn damage, misuse, or incorrect wiring.
